The summer of Kaitlin and Colin’s wedding at Lakedale Resort on San Juan Island we existed on cold brew. We spent more time on ferries than in our own homes.
Year two in business we found ourselves navigating the ferry systems most weekends and falling in love with the amazing San Juan Islands. Orcas, San Juan, Whidbey, Lummi and Camano to name a handful. Not all require a ferry because of our convenient northern location in Bellingham, WA, but they all have that island feel we have come to love!

The ceremony for this wedding was snuggled into the woods a small hike from where the reception took place. Our Mercury Geode Lanterns lined the aisle while Bloom San Juan created a beautiful floral install on the Brandon Wood Arbor.
Back at the reception, which was held in the coziest spot near a small lake, a mixture of our hairpin tables and tables covered in soft linen elevated the space. It was a picturesque scene with cafe lights, beautiful floral garlands down the tables, a unique and funky lounge near the dance floor, and an amazing bar area!
Our Fredrick folding chairs made their debut at this event. As well as one of the years most popular lounge combos, a version of the Shuksan Lounge package. The bar area was the star of the show and the cherry on top was pre-mixed margaritas ready to grab from our gold shelving. Gather Events ALWAYS brings the fun unique details.
