As you look out at the views from atop the mountain from Sun Mountain Lodge you get the beautiful feeling you are very small. Vast quiet surrounds this beautiful and luxurious lodge. You really get the best of both worlds, luxury accommodations in the rugged outdoors. This is where Kirin and Josh decided to tie the knot. The Patterson Lake Cabins at Sun Mountain Lodge. The Patterson Lake Cabins are nestled in a grove of trees on a gorgeous lakefront just over 1 mile from the main Sun Mountain Lodge.

A Roaming Reception Design

We were so excited to work with Kirin on this design. Kirin knew exactly what she wanted, a boho feel with rugs, pillows, and tables, to create comfortable lounges for her friends and family to hang out in. Using the Patterson Lake Cabins existing Adirondack chairs we created 10 lounges that were spread out among the grassy area by the lake. Each little lounge had its own feel, but color and comfort where top priorities. A table to set a drink and a large floor pillow to pull up and get in on a good conversation were conveniently located throughout. Kirin and Josh’s wedding planner, Erika Hernandez, provided the finishing touches of lanterns, candles, and more pillows to pull the look together.

It only gets better at night

When the sun goes down, the Patterson Lake Cabins at Sun Mountain Lodge only get better. Lights hanging above light up the dance floor and the music flows out through the valley. The perfect night weather of the Methow Valley feels good after a hot day of outdoor activities. It’s really an amazing setting for a wedding.
